I would rather watch the young guys struggling every night than watch the Miller's, Culberson's and Calhoun's be as bad or worse every night and still in the lineup

Maybe Evan Grant can make up some good excuse for it. He's good at making up excuses for this team and the FO and staff

Its really not even just the young guys that haven't put it together yet, the vets in this lineup aren't good this year either.

These lower tier vets are surely not lighting it up

Since coming back from an injury in early July these are Zak Kent's numbers.

So we have Roby, Bradford, Kent, Englert, Garcia, and Bratt are all doing really well right now. And White was doing well prior to his injury. Even Vanasco has an ERA less than 4 over his last several starts.

I think how badly Winn and Leiter have pitched for most of the year has skewed the way we see the development of our pitching prospects this year. Even Leiter has an ERA of 3.66 over his last 4 starts.

I’m a little surprised Sam Huff completely fell out of the rangers top 30 prospects..
He has 17 hrs in 200 AB with AAA. That’s a 50 HR pace over 600 AB.
He’s hit fairly well at the major league level in the sporadic way the have used him..
Once he comes up again he needs to play damn near every day. I’d be happy if he hit .250/.320/.480 with 35 HRS
