Game Thread: Quacks host Bolts

I_Shall's skinny: Can the Bolts handle 2 high energy games in as many days? Was last night's energy & SOG just a fluke or is this the "real" Bolts showing what they're made of (was that heart?)? How worn out are they right now from last night's game? Since they haven't played with that kind of energy consistently or maybe even at all. Can they learn from last night & now not only just have a lot of SOG but also get screens/traffic in front of the Quack's net? And can they do all this & lessen the giveaways? I really think the last time the Quacks & Bolts met that the Quacks had a lot of sick players. I think this game will be payback for the Quacks. I don't see the Bolts being able to produce energy 2 nights straight. I really think we'll be playing the Lul 10 Strategy game that we've been seeing for a couple of seasons or more now. My score prediction 7-1 Quacks win tonight.

For those that don't know what the Lul 10 Strategy is I will shed some light. This is a new play style that has not & will not catch on around the NHL. Some teams play the trap, Stevie Y & Coach Cooper developed the Lul 10! Here's the skinny of it. For 50 mins the Bolts sit back, take very limited shots on goal, skate around with that old song "I'm too sexy for my shirt" playing in their heads and basically hope for the best. The limited SOG will hopefully lul the opposing net-minder to sleep. Than the last 10 mins of the game, the Bolts come alive and usually put up 10-15 SOG. Hence, the Lul 10 strategy! Most of the time, it's too little - too late.

Lightning win 4 to 2 I think bishop will get back on track tonight!

yea, he got the best of Gudas. BJ actually had a great right connect with left eye on the fight before!

I agree. Our D plays to much offense. Watch, I always see a forward having to be 1st back to play D. Usually Fillp, when he's on the ice.

The Bolts energy is surprisingly high, having just played a high energy game last night. Thank goodness for Monster, 5 Hour, etc. Probably all of them at once!
