I've always thought they should just go Starcraft and have the xenophobes from Alien as the hive mind creatures on a planet, the Predators as the technology obsessed warriors, and the human marines as explorers that have to combat both of them.

Then, if the series is successful, drop The Thing in there and let the hijinks ensue.

Instead of going super serious, go campy like Starship Troopers.

I agree it can't be worse than the last one. And it looks like a more original concept; hunting warriors in ancient times. At least thats the impression I get from the trailer, but I obviously can be wrong?

In fact a fan made movie was made on that idea which is really good considering its made by amateurs.

I've seen them all and actually am looking forward to this one.

No uzis or mini guns.

Just bows and arrows.

They really need to fix this predator franchise. There should be no good guy predators, the predator should be a fucking feared alien hunting/killing machine. There should be a fear the audience should have for the protagonist running/hiding and fighting back as the predator is killing everyone in its way.
