I got a feeling the predictions will be much more favorable than the poll last year.

Going with 9-8. I think its a considerably more difficult schedule than last year and we didnt do enough to shore up the run D.

I think they get to double digit wins this year, They played some bad teams last season and they lost to many of them because of a bad defense. The defense I feel will be improved just enough to pull out one more win than last season.

FTR, everyone thought our schedule last year was going to be brutal.

Every year is different. There will be surprise teams in both directions.

The tough stretches are weeks 2-6 (@Detroit, @NYG, @Cinci will be tough) and then weeks 12-15 (SF x2, @Dallas, Philly). I would super happy if we are 4-1 after week 6, but still think we'd be in great shape at 3-2.

Going with 12-5 because the schedule looks fine to me.
I'm going 11-6... I think the schedule looks a bit more favorable this year... I think our defense will be much better, our offense will be much more efficient and we get to play the Rams/Cards 2x's...

I'm happy to see that it seems I'm the only one who thought the schedule was tough. The week 4 bye is pretty much garbage for a team that travels so much but it is what it is.

SF-DAL-SF-PHI is an absolute gauntlet.

That stretch probably decides how the season goes.

if Geno grows from his experience last year, our D definitely has better talent right now, I’m thinking we win 10 maybe 11 … The young guys are still green and need more time, but the future looks like it has some potential right now …

I'll go 10-7, which IMO is more than a one game improvement.

Seattle got lucky last year on a couple wins because opposing teams were SO beat up/injured. I don't quite expect that luck this year and I think last year Seattle could've gone 7-10 just as easily as they went 9-8... so I think the 10-7 is a bit more of an improvement.

The offense (assuming Geno doesn't regress) should be lights out, but the defense still has holes all over the interior - I know Wagner had a great season last year, but he'll be 33 in short order.

Comparing Seattle's roster though from 2022 to now, it's vastly improved.

That plus injuries. I mean the Eagles will certainly be a really good team, but if Jalen Hurts isn't on the field that week it completely changes that game.

I went with 11-6. With a couple of fortunate bounces and some bad luck to other teams, it could be even better but I honestly don't believe in S.O.S. at all. Every team, every game, every situation is that week and what you do in that week. What a team did the previous season. month or week means absolutely nothing, imo. KC barely squeaked by the Texans last year. Washington handed Philly their first loss. Good coaching, another good draft, a solid roster and a top notch organization top to bottom, the Seahawks can once again exceed expectations if the football gods keep us relatively healthy. I'll have to see where all this stands post Thanksgiving when it really counts but I am pretty optimistic with the future of this team.

The nice thing, though, is that this stretch happens late in the season, so hopefully we have a great record with a healthy roster. I have a feeling that one of those three opponents will be a dumpster fire by that point in the season because of injuries.

I don't think Dallas is going to do anything but they could win 5 games maybe max 8, that team will regress this season and Dak is broken.

Yeah, Dak may very well be done for the year by the time we play Dallas, but their backup QB did pretty well last year all things considered. They also don't have to keep giving Zeke the ball which might help them out. But if Pollard goes down they're done. The more I stare at our schedule, the more I really like it. I really don't fear Detroit maybe as much as I should. Giants may be tougher, but I really don't see us losing that game. Dallas should ultimately be a win too.

@Cinci, @ Baltimore, SF x2, and Philly are really the only games that should be tough. There are always some bizarre losses every year though, and if we get hit with the injury bug, then all bets are off. I would be extremely disappointed if we don't win 10 games next season, and am predicting 11 wins at the moment, which I feel is a little conservative. Maybe I have my homer glasses on, but I am really excited for this upcoming season.
