burnett has thrown a lot of pitches that have missed by a lot to the first 9 batters.

The Doobster does not like the matchup here. Really will take some help from above to beat the Cards in a series.

cole has to limit BB(which he is good at) and pitch heat inside regularly.

wonder if we should switch morneau and pedro in the order.
seems like pedro is hot and mourneau gives us nothing in run production or protection for cutch.
he does have some good atbats, but seriously, mercer is just as productive and wouldnt bat him 4th.
the other option is moving byrd to 4 and pedro to 5, but then you have R,R,L,L making late inning BP decisions easier for the cards.

what are your thoughts.

also, we need some O and mercer over barmes. save barmes for the late game D if warranted. it appears barmes did have a good career showing vs wainright, but we need O.
