So glad Grill is starting to cruise again... with Melancon in the 8th... the bullpen has that automatic feel about it again..

This team is starting to make me feel like if we can get 5 quality inning out of a starter we can win any game... with this bullpen and the bench providing pinch hits.

I forgot how much West Coast games stink when living on the Eastern side. I don't even like them living on Pacific Time, but they're at least still reasonable.

Yeah, I've been falling asleep on the couch before the game starts, then waking up in the 4th inning, which means I'm probably gonna stay up for the rest of the game, and before I know it it's 2:00 and I have to be up in 4 hours.

Liriano does not have anything resembling control today.

Harrison and Mercer are still red hot, especially Harrison.

Cutch is awesome.

Snider is mostly useless.

The Padres have scored three runs. They have not hit a ball out of the infield (unless you count the "sac fly" Harrison caught while playing second base).

Six walks for Liriano cost him. He did strike out seven, so his stuff was good, but the control hurt.

Man, Cutch just missed that one. Got the meat, but a bit under it.

Just one base hit, a bunt single, allowed, and only one ball out of the infield allowed, but the walks and an error led to three runs for the Padres.
