I don't know that you can blame Smith. That last goal was a perfect deflection of a shot that was actually going wide. The Nolan goal was the result of a defensive breakdown giving the Kings an odd-man advantage chance that they capitalized on. I don't think he saw the first King goal. One of the Coyote skaters had him screened and it was a quick shot from a great pass by Kopitar. And then the Kopitar goal was on the power play.

Great period by the Kings. Too bad I sold my ticket. This would be a fun game to be at. Shoot if they continue to play like this when I'm not there I may just sell off all the rest of my tickets. Of course there are still 40 minutes left to play and if there is any trait to a Dave Tippett coached team it's that they won't quit. Keep up the solid play Kings.

Kings were chewed out good in Practice Tuesday, looks like they listened.
Coyotes don't look like they are playing the way we know they can.
Kings can't afford to let up. Coyotes are the best coached team in the league.
