Don't be a jabroni.
Big 3 game road trip starting tonight, all PD foes and the Kings need the points. They've quietly gone 6-2 under Jill, I'll take a .750 W% any day of the week. However, they haven't beat anyone legitimate - all mediocre or bottom third teams. Big test coming up.
The Oilers have lost 3 straight, the Kings have gained points on them. Tied in points but they have 4 more wins I believe, Kings win tonight takes them into PD3 and drops Edmonton to WC1. Would love to see that but after 3 straight losses and especially against LA, I have a feeling they will come out focused and ready to play.
Hyman has had an amazing season, he has put up some serious goals. I believe best of his career, he is also physical and a pest. Have to focus on him in addition to 97 and 29. I really haven't noticed the thug Kane all season long honestly.
Expecting Talbot tonight but wouldn't be surprised to see Rittich. This is a B2B - I'd start Rittich tonight, Talbot tomorrow against Calgary and then Rittich again Thursday against Vancouver. As stated it's nuts they haven't played the Canucks yet and have all 4 games remaining the next 7-8 weeks to end the season. These are really important games this week.
Prediction: Kings 4-3, TOTM gets on the board, Kopitar, Kempe and Roy. He's been jumping up a LOT into the play recently. I'd love to see LA keep him but he will command at least $6 million as a UFA rhis summer, the Kings cannot afford that so we are probably looking at his last season here. I don't see Blake trading him though.
Game time is 630pm, there is so much to dislike about the Oilers. From Kane to McDavid to Draisaitl to Bouchard to Hyman, just a team of ass clowns. Need Mike Smith back to complete the douchebaggery.
Let's Go Kings!
