Phillies vs Dodgers game thread

We are going into this series on an 8 game win streak and I would love 2 out of 3 from the Phillies! Lets go Dodgers!

It'll be Greinke vs Lee, Kershaw vs someone, and Nolasco vs Hamels. Just what I can remember off the top of my head.

Kershaw versus Kendricks in the 2nd game. Does anyone else hate the Phillies as much as I do? Beat the crap out of them, sweep them, make me forget the 2 championship series.

Like the Mets the Phillies have some very good starting pitching, but the Dodgers don't seem to care who they face. They just do what it takes. Should be a good Series, but Dodgers should take at least two games.

I want 2 out of 3 in this series and I hate the Phillies as bad if not worse than I hate the Giants.

Friday: Cliff Lee (10-5 3.18 ERA) vs. Zack Greinke (10-3 3.21 ERA)

Saturday: Kyle Kendrick (10-9 4.48 ERA) vs. Clayton Kershaw (11-7 1.88 ERA)

Sunday: Cole Hamels (5-13 3.65 ERA) vs. Ricky Nolasco (9-9 3.62 ERA)

Van Slyke has been called up, no doubt to be available to take on Lee and Hamels, and Gordon has been sent back to where he belongs.

Brian Wilson should be called up soon, also, which means someone has to go. Marmol is the probable victim of Wilson coming up.

Phillies now have Sandberg as manager, on an interim basis, as Charlie Manuel gets the axe. Charlie did a nice job in Philadelphia and is a good baseball man, but it was time to pass the torch in the City of Brotherly Love.

Now it's time for the Dodgers to show NO love to the Phillies.

Dodgers take game 1 of this series!!!!!! Great performance by Greinke and our pen to shut out the Phillies and I cannot praise Mr. Hanley Ramirez enough with that 2 run blast. What a fucking beast you are Manly Ramirez and I see you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hanley hasn't missed a beat since coming off his shoulder injury. Big hit off a very good pitcher.

Nice to pick up another game against the Arizona team.

Things look good tomorrow with Kershaw on the mound.
