They need some more offense from any spot. Having Peter Bourjos a regular starter at a corner outfield spot his embarrassing. He can't even break his way into the number 8 spot in the lineup. (and at this point I don't think it is a gimmick- he really is a worse hitter than the pitchers).

I suppose they want him to get a few months in triple A and there's Asche and Altherr to deal with first. This guy can hit judging from the line drives he smashed in ST. He's .296/.344, 51 HRs, after 4 1/2 years in the minors and he's only 22. After seeing how well the Phillies are doing with two solid holes in their lineup, Williams will give the team a real jolt.
