Maybe its because I grew up in the 50s and 60s that I don't find "Cuban Missile" as a cute a name as others.

That was back when Presidents would actually make a decision without consulting polls.

ya know, it was a day when we did what we did, because this is what we thought we were suppose to do. Worked hard, believed in our "government" and stormed up the mound to prove it. All this "instantaneous information" is too much sometimes. It seems to me, it makes everyone over-react.

Actually there is more effort put into not making a decision for fear of being wrong or judged after the fact ... so not making a decision at all (or voting Present) are less dangerous.

Sorry ... comes from getting shot at by bad guys. Sent there by leaders who were more worried about how they might be judged after ... than winning. Wow am I OT.

With Feliz, Kirkman (yes him), Font, Lindblom coming up next week it will be very nice.

I'm glad to hear that Kirkman is dealing with his cancer, and that he is well enough to resume his career....

I don't want him anywhere near this team....I prefer we give him away...he can become the next Verlander on some other team....

I keep hearing of this great talent...but it never shows up on the field..and I honestly don't believe it. Let some other team attempt to unleash the potential...
