Pro Bowls mean absolutely nothing though. But pretty sad with this money being thrown around

In fairness, though, the Giants aren't quite as bad as they've played the last few seasons.

They have hit pretty brutally by the injury bug in recent memory. If they can just stay healthy, they have the makings of a competitive, playoff unit:

- Franchise QB
- A top WR
- Some good, young pieces on the O-line
- A quality starting DL
- 2 cover CB's

They got holes elsewhere, no doubt... and I'm not claiming they are the best team in the NFL or anything... but they are looking respectable all of the sudden.

Eli Manning isn't getting any younger. It totally makes sense (IMO) for the Giants to make a big splash now and try to capitalize on his late prime years.
