Honestly, though, without that trade we might not have hitched our wagon to Henry. Julio/DJ/Henry (and Thielen and Beasley for that matter) may have enough powder left to do damage this year, but things will degrade quickly after that.

Bummer for Harold, who traded us his 1.5 for our 2022 first rounder when all we had was Mahomes and trash and creaky old has-beens. (At least it looks like a bummer in May; December may be another story.)

That trade for Henry was a bummer for me. If he wanted Chase for Henry I'd of gladly traded either the 1.04 or 1.03 or maybe the 1.01 for Henry and added a bit. However I can only blame myself for trading you the 1.05 in the first place. Now I got to sweat it out to see how you do. The old "best laid plans of mice and men often go awry" story. Talk about having something blow up in your face. I gotta try not to think on it...bad for my blood pressure.

You didn't have the auxiliary pieces that made it work for me. I'd have asked for 3&4 at minimum, and I didn't think you'd buy it. Plus, I didn't really want Etienne or Williams all that badly

The deal hinged on another player that we really did not want to give up and Treff really wanted to have. Lots of back-and-forth. In the end, Treff got what he wanted.

Taking a decent dart throw at a RB with Javian Hawkins... Partially because I already have Cordarrell Patterson so I’m increasing my odds at another RB2 or an outside shot at a RB1 (if they don’t go for a FA) because of ATL’s supposed “open competition”.

Even if he was just a UDFA, as it stands right now he’s got a pretty good shot at meaningful work as a rookie.
