Now I'm not an insider or anything like that so I could be talking out of my ass but does anybody else think that Zeus coming back could be a good thing for landing Rabb? I mean I agree with CTP. I see Rabb as a power forward and not a true center. And I remember reading something a while back about Rabb really wanting to play with Zimmerman so that he could play the power forward position and not have the pressure of HAVING to play center in college. Having a front court with Zeus, Rabb, and Comanche could be deadly!

That's what I was afraid of doing by saying he would be a great PF, but again, I don't know. I don't see how he would be a sufficient center at 210 to have as much of an impact as he could if he was a PF.

Honestly, even him not announcing before RHJ and BA is impressive enough for me. Great that he's thinking about staying, regardless of why. I'm still not holding my breath.

Good news is that Zeus officially announced his return, which makes me feel so much better about our front court next year. Assuming we don't get Rabb (etc.), I still feel really good about Anderson and Zeus, with Comanche and Ristic backing them up.

Same guy right after the Stanley tweets, doesn't really scream credibility to me.

I'm ready to have this Rabb recruitment over one way or the other tonight. Heard Cal is still the favorite but we have a chance...

There will be a live stream of the announcement. I'll post it in a bit.

I'm not too broken up about Rabb. Obviously it would have great to have him, but our biggest weakness is SF. I'm assuming SJ is gone still, although I don't think anyone can exactly "guarantee" that he will be top ten (though he probably will be 7-10).

Stanley still has 12 days to make a decision. Deadline is April 26th.

I think Kadeem is going to have a huge year next season and be the leader of the team.

As of right now... assuming Stanley goes and Lee and Tollefson transfer in...

I really like this potential lineup:

Start: PG Allen, SG Trier, SF Lee, PF Anderson, C Zeus
Bench: PG PJC, SG York, SF Smith/Pitts, PF Tollefson, C Ristic

Red Shirt Candidates: Simon, Comanche

And of you guys catch that Trier got co-MVP in the Jordan Brand game tonight? 8-10 with 28 points.

He's going to be a great scorer for us. Hopefully he'll stay a couple years.

He reminds me of the shooters that Lute use to recruit. Offense should be a little better next year, not that it wasn't good this past season.
