I know it's a little early, but with several players having recently been signed by the Cardinals to "future" 2015 contracts, I thought it was time for this thread.

Here are some more signings. They are mainly our PS players.

Arizona re-signed running back Zach Bauman, tight end Ted Bolser, guard John Fullington, wide receiver Travis Harvey, cornerback Jimmy Legree, tackle Kelvin Palmer, wide receiver Ryan Spadola, cornerback Ross Weaver and cornerback Darren Woodard.

All nine spent time on the Cardinals' practice squad last season.

The Cardinals added tackle Tavon Rooks, as well. He spent his rookie season on New Orleans’ practice squad after the Saints drafted him in the sixth round last May.

Usually, I'd say "who cares" regarding practice squad players, but since we ended up having so many playing for us in the post-season, I won't do that again.

Exactly. Hopefully injuries won't hit the team so hard next season.

I'll update the recent signings cuts.

Restructured contract - Fitz

Resigned - Sowell

Cut - Docket & Ginn

Signed - CB Damond Smith & S D.J. Campbell

With Palmer's contract restructure, that leaves us with about $21 mil in cap space, with $4,665,807 of that needed for our draft pool.

It should be an interesting build up over the weekend till FA can officially sign with a team.

If they were to go after a high priced free agent, would you prefer an RB like Murray or Peterson + others or Suh

It's not official till Tuesday. I really like this signing. The guy has some speed & can cover. Hopefully he can stay healthy & would make a great combo if or when DWash gets back.

That leaves us with about $13 mil to spend.

Needs left: OLB, DL, OG, RB, & CB.

Hopefully we fill 3 of those needs before the Draft.

Cardinals agreed to terms with DL Corey Peters, formerly of the Falcons, on a three-year, $10.5 million contract.

In Arizona, Peters (6'3/305) will likely play 3-4 end opposite Calais Campbell, replacing Darnell Dockett.

Dockett's replacement is 7 years younger & slightly cheaper. Now we just need to find a cheap NT to replace Williams & resign Kelly. Unless Keim does some more cutting/restructuring, that only leaves a few mil left on the table when you factor in the draft pool cap space.

I like it. A low cost backup plan who could get cut over the summer if he doesn't show anything.

No word yet on the $$$ for Shipley. I would imagine it's a low cost deal. Possibly replacement for Lyle Sendlein at center.

I kinda expected this to happen. I am still surprised Larsen hasn't been released yet.

After the Iupati & Shipley signings, we have $9,196,121. We will need $4,665,807 for the draft pool. That leaves us about $4.530 in room. We likely will only see low cost veterans or 90 man roster bodies signed between now & June 1st. After June 1st, you will some decent veterans cut around the league. Keim usually finds a guy are two among those cuts.
