Its going to be a while before any real football action so I thought a off topic thread would be good.

Speaking of off topics I'd like to throw this out there. The 49ers board is a monster board, the Seahawks and Rams board are taking off some what any way. We need to get the Card board some life. I've gotten Cakes to give SportsHoopla a try and he's a Card fan. However he going to need some help to get the Card board a going, How about we all give that board some input to help give it some life.

What do you say? It's not going to be easy, the Card board on ESPN doesn't have that many posters either, so it's not like he can recruit a bunch of guys off of ESPN.

I don't know about the rest of you but I think it would be good to have all the NFC WEST boards alive and kicking.

On CBS there was this one guy who was a Cardinals fan (AzFan#1) who practically kept the Cards board alive by himself. It seems that NFL boards tend to fluctate along with the team's performance.

He would also post on the Seahawks board frequently, boy those were some good times. After the Cardinals had went to the Superbowl, I got into it with him because he claimed that Beanie Wells was a future MVP and that the Cardinals would go 13-3 and win the Superbowl. Safe to say using hindsight it looks like I won that debate.

I think the reason why the 49ers boards are so active is because it seems like California tends to rally behind teams as a state. I don't live in Cali but I recall how popular the Chargers were online at one point while they were winning. I think that entire state just sort of shifts to whichever team is having the most success.

I think board activity is a combination of area population and team success. I.e. if the Cardinals had a higher chance of success, their board would be more active.

78 degrees and beautiful. Question? Is anyone else having problems with this site loading? It has been a off again on again problem for me.

They moved the server last night and there have been DNS propagation issues. Most of the time you move an entry you get access by most domains within a couple of hours, but there are times where odd things can happen for up to 24 hours after the change. It should stabilize by tomorrow.

HD also said he might put the updated vbulletin engine up tonight so don't be surprised if the board looks different tomorrow.

The site will have a new look when the software is upgraded. It should also work with phone app ForumRunner.

When the software is upgraded? I thought that is what just happened or do you mean upgraded again?
I'll be sure to use Forum Runner app, although I really don't have any problems visiting and posting on this site with my phone now.
