Think Justin was pushing for a trade for Kemp. Probably before we signed Choo.

Justin and I pushed for like the exact same things last offseason and in seemed like everyone else was totally against us haha. Not saying that everything we wanted wouldve been the right call, but still. Sometimes its hard to argue for an opinion you think is right when 20 other credible people think its wrong, but we stuck to them and did our best to make our case

Sorta like the other day when I tried to make the case that you can't just assume that DH will come back pitching like his former self. I dont think one person agreed with me, but I still stick to that opinion. No matter the injury, you cant assume someone is going to come back. Its not the rehab from the injury I'm worried about, its the time off. Maybe he'll come back with a different arm angle, or different release points, or weaker legs, or different mechanics in general. Not cuz he was hurt and had minor surgery, but because he took like 8 months off.

Ya, but people were using the argument of "its just microfracture surgery, not tommy john. He'll come back just fine." Like 3 people were against me the other day.

I sorta think thats a ridiculous assumption to make, but whatever. I guess we'll see.

I for one agreed. Said Harry and Lewis could not be counted on due to the injury and time off. Got opposition.
