At this time last year Carpenter couldn't hit his weight even though he took off in the second half of the season. Wouldn't it be nice if he would begin his upward trend earlier this season?

As for Fowler, he has been a good surprise so far but I'm afraid to say anything since past history has proven that his hitting has gone on a weightwatchers program too.

Like past history of say 2017??? You know, where he had like a career year?

And Wacha sucks...serves up the only pitch that softball refuge could hit! Cubs did what they had to do...

And I'm not on here do to it being absolutely magical out here in God's country...weatherwise. Remodeling, landscaping, working with my rescue dog...i.e. spending time outside. LOL.

That's a possibility since the Cubs have gone from worst to first in just 30 days but it's a long season with a lot of baseball left to be played and the NL Central will be brutal with all teams in this division having their peaks and valleys before the season is over.

I went to the Giants @ Reds Game today. The Reds bats were alive all series including today. From the Giants perspective, I saw the Kung Fu Panda hit a HR + he pitched in the 8th inning to save further destruction on their bullpen. Of course, the game was delayed due to BEES! Reds Win!

that's funny legs. Cubs have played pretty good teams so far, only 2 with a losing record.

cubs have plenty games left against the reds, pirates, brewers and cardinals if that makes you feel better.
