Well, PSU still has a chance to step to the plate if they want to keep BOB, but he may have burned too many bridges in this high stakes game of chicken this time.

James Franklin is the choice for me and its a no brainer. PA guy, great recruiter, great offensive mind and wins at a school with great academics. Dave Jones actually posted a story saying he's the target according to people within the University and Joyner is already familiar and impressed with him via several connections. I'd be fine if that's what goes down and goes down quick.

After him,

Roman, Pep Hamilton, Golden, Schiano

I can be okay with that. Franklin had a 8-4 team and his loses were to Ole Miss, A&M, South Carolina, and Missouri. Not bad for a team that a few years ago was the laughing stock of the SEC. I just hope its not Schiano for all the heat he took this year in TB. I think he isn't a bad college coach, but not sure what these young kids think when they hear all the speculation about him.

i love LJ, but no way i give him the HC job. Hell, he's not even been a DC at PSU.

Penn State has 6 member committee searching for the next HC and they want to hire someone in the next few days compared to next few weeks they said.

Joyner, Poole, Green, Caldwell, Warming, and Richardson make up the committee.

I agree that they want to name a HC soon so these kids don't decommit but you also want to make the correct hire and not rush the decision.

Well both our teams are looking for new coaches Redskins and PSU. Both need to know how to continue getting success out of the quarterback. Also both teams need improvement on the defensive side (especially LB and secondary).

James Fraklin and Golden top 2. Franklin has family connections to Joyner and Golden well, its obvious how he fits. One of scout national guys said he has heard Golden to PSU is really heating up, but I'd prefer Franklin. Either will be knockout recruiters and Hack had both on his short list before selecting PSU

Hope he brings some of those good looking recruits. Here are 3 Miami commits who might switch to PSU based solely on their current location. Miami has lots of other talent who live in FL.
S- Hester 4 star from NJ
DT-Jenkins 3 star from NJ
OLB- Young 3 star from GA

Franklin's Vandy has only these players that interest me,
QB Carta-Samuels 4 star from CA
S- Smith 4 star from TN
OT- Brosnan 3 star from IL

David Jones of the Patriot News is reporting Greg Schiano will NOT be the next head coach, so you can rule him out it appears.

Lets hope this is true...fingers crossed

You only picked Mariucci because your watching Under Armor Game. I rather have the opposing coach Herm Edwards as the next coach for PSU.

Craig Fitzgerald is still at Penn State so far.... Hope he stays as the strength coach, he did amazing things for the team and I love his energy.
