Rhome is nothing but a self-serving, blowhard IMO.

Yesterday I was thinking Odor would get 3 games and that would probably be knocked down some. But from everything I'm hearing/reading, I'm WAAAYYY off.

But like you say, it'll be interesting to see how MLB evaluates the situation. There's a lot of homework to be done with the likes of having discussions with the umpiring crew first.

Does anyone know if there is a "normal" procedure for situations like this? I know the umpires are interviewed, and any/all film is dissected to the nth degree. But do they talk with the mgrs, GMs, players involved as well before coming down with a ruling?

Well, from what I gather from dealing with jays fans all day, Toronto and Texas are bitter rivals. I know, I didn't get the memo either. Since Roog is a very visible player on the Rangers, and since only the blue jays play the game the right way, they had to police the games to make sure the Rangers got the message.
