Just saw the last 2 minutes on the DVR.

Good stuff.

I like how the game ended in an assist.

Assist for the win. My dream announcing would be an emphasis of the pass. "He dribbles, dribbles, passes the ball, what a win!!!"

I'm going to need an audio test-run of this play-by-play.

Record yourself using your iPad, and upload it on Sports SportsHoopla.

I'll bet other SHers will provide great compliments and feedback.

Did you watch the ending? Or should I have put it in spoiler tags?

I've always thought Gary Payton's game winning assist during game 5 of the 2004 Spurs-Lakers series, with 0.4 left on the clock, was under-valued.

That should be up there with Payton's playoffs moments, as much as anything from 1994 - 1996, or later with the Heat.

I'm not going to mention who made the shot, because that will cause MHSL82's face to turn magenta.

I heard it live driving back from work. I heard the NC shot and the Villanova shot.

That shot was entertaining. Even lying traitors make good shots from time to time.

Who cares about the shot? It's the pass that's entertaining, right???

I thought you like assists, yet you're not celebrating one of the most important playoffs assists in history? A buzzer beating, series turning (went from a tied series to a Lakers leading) assist?

Besides, Payton could have passed it to Bryant, who could have bricked it, and no one would have blamed Payton.

But he passed it to someone who happened to make the ball go into the right bucket, and Payton doesn't get credit for that decision, or the execution with such little time left on the clock. Any slight inaccuracy and that device that makes noises when time runs out, would have gone off.
