Do you remember when they were playing it during Phillies' games?
BTW, my cable gets shut off every now and then for nonpayment so this is how I usually listen to the Phillies games on the radio.

Speaking of gambling, this has to be the funniest commercial in the history of commercials
Not funny to his son! Compulsive gambling is an addiction that causes problems in many areas of
life besides the monetary part!

I'm sure his son is fine. I heard his new stepdad is loaded so he was funding the party anyway. Got the kid a pony and everything.......

Where did you hear that? I know that guy personally, and after being down so much to his bookie, he started tricking his son for money.

I think the roster will be better this year. Maybe we bring in JP Crawford and one of those guys that hit a shitload of HRs in the minors last year to play 1B/OF and rack up some RIBBIES in the middle of the order. Plus the young pitchers will hopefully improve. That's gotta be worth some wins, right?
Also, how much faith do we really have in Crawford at this point? I'm not saying he won't be good, but it's not like he was tearing it up at AAA. In 385 PA there last year, he hit .244/.328/.318 for a 90 wRC+ (the hitting must not be that great at AAA, because I doubt a .302 wOBA would give you a freaking 90 wRC+ in the majors. Hell, I looked it up. Alex Gordon had a .303 wOBA and a 85 wRC+.) I hear his defense is good, which is obviously huge at SS, but I'm not ready to bank on him as being part of the quintuplet that gives us 2002 Barry Bonds

Yes I smoke. But it didn't cause me to miss my sons birthday party!
That wasn't the comparison. You called me the "addiction king," when, in fact, you are addicted to the most addicting deliveries of all psychologically addicting drugs of all time. Not to mention all the gay pron you're addicted to

You are reaching too far with your pron comment. I only commented on your past confessions regarding addiction.
However, it is hard to tell when you are being truthful at any given time.

JP could be the biggest bust since Cody. I hope we don't have sit through three years of his learning program.

I wouldn't really call Cody a bust because he wasn't a heralded prospect and he still did enough to make it to the majors. Crawford is a first round draft pick that everyone is expecting big things from. If he doesn't do much in the majors that would be a huge bust. But I think Crawford will be good.

Well, he didn't have the super hype that some get, but he hit .300 at Reading and LHV in '13 and '14 so many fans were not anticipating a .213 hitter for three years. So, yeah, the guy was a bust. He is still young though.

Asche was a big disappointment. Mediocre would have been an improvement. He will not be missed!
