Zimmer is nowhere near the worst H.C. but I think his time in Minny has run it's course. As for the Vikes, I honestly think Childress and Frazer were both worse than Zimmer.
Zimmer is literally Frazier.

Great in a coordinator role. A special kind of stupid as a head coach.

Quite the list...

I had to look up Marion Campbell... wondered how he could have been a coach for 9 years with that record in NFL.

Was better than I thought.... stunk it up in Atlanta for 3 years... went to Philly and stunk it up for 3 years and best of all Atlanta brings him back for 3 more bad years.

What GM decided that was a good idea to bring him back?

David Shula. End of story. He had so little control over his own team that a player actually took his hat from him in a game and smashed back on his head. Nothing ever happened.

But, you could also have your choice of just about any Bengals coach in the 90's post-Wyche era until Lewis came around in the early 2000's. Mock Lewis for his post-season issues, but he got the Bengals out of the dark ages, and won a bunch of games for a Franchise that hadn't been relevant since 1990 (and you could argue '88).

I also think that Taylor is vastly over-rated. He's winning this year because he's riding Burrow/Chase and a rather stacked offense. But the offense operates at a much higher level when Burrow is directing traffic rather than Taylor. He's a marginal offensive play-caller, IMO.

I'd replace him with Brady in a heartbeat and reunite Brady with Burrow and Chase. Wouldn't blink twice.

Is it always the coach? Sometimes is the players not really giving a crap as long as they get paid, sometimes it's the GM that can't evaluate his staff, that would be scouts and personell dept, or maybe the owner just doesn't give a damn as long as he's getting his cut. It's amazing to me that more often than not the fans call for the head of the coach and not others.

**edit**
Zimmer is an old school guy that believes in winning with field position, defense, special teams and having an O that doesn't F it up. That method is kind of done in the current game....for the most part

The worst? nah not even close
The best? nah not even close
Actually describes Kirk Cousins perfectly too so in a way they are made for each other.

That's ultimately the problem, they are not good enough to get close to the Super Bowl but probably wont be bad enough to rebuild so it just depends what the bar is?
