jones struggled in camp and in the preseason............what makes me think hes gonna be good all of a sudden

Go read Rotoworld's latest blurb on Jones that was posted a few minutes ago.

The gist is this:

Jones is listed 3rd on the Bucs RB depth chart and Rotoworld is advising people not to draft him at all.

My bet is that outside of dynasty leagues, because his role will be so limited early, most if not all redraft owners will drop him before he has any real shot to overtake Barber.

What week are you envisioning these cuts to occur?


I own him in the same amount of leagues I own Barber in. With no intention of needing to start either before the leaves turn.

MBBRL is the tightest bench I've ever played in. (Also the only standard scoring). I could see that happening in similar situations. Can't really hold on to anyone for long with that shallow of a bench. Unless it's a proven commodity. You're prolly right in those situations. I don't see the most part happening though. Unless the 2-5 touches thing happens.

MBBRL is the tightest bench I've ever played in. (Also the only standard scoring). I could see that happening in similar situations. I actually do think he will be a bust long term. But that isn't because of his preseason.

I'm a little skeptical of the Barber love. I believe he was the only back with a certain amount of carries to not have a 20+ yard run.
If he gets volume, he'll be a fine high floor/low ceiling RB2. Quizz in a 2-minute drill, or 4th quarter catch up time and a rookie looking on for early down work are plausible realities.
