I was listening to Goldsmith on the radio the other day and he was by himself and actually calling the game and I thought he was fine. It's when he calls the game with other people and starts babbling about a ton of irrelevant crap that he gets painful to listen to.

Yeah I'm not sure what the reason was. I don't listen to the M's on the radio very often, but it almost always is Rizzs or Sims.

Will they take any of this series? Even with Castillo pitching I'm not sure they can score enough.

Gilbert getting to his high in innings for his career and he has lost location. 135 IP in 2019, nothing in 2020, 124 last year and now at 132 this year. This is why you get tired of hearing me bitch in the offseason about signing vets. You can't get away with 2 rookies in the rotation anymore because of how they load manage these guys these days coming up...and 2020 didn't help anyone.

We have a solid bullpen. All of the starters would have more juice left if Servais had any clue about how to use his relievers.

Can't perform against contenders, you don't really deserve that wild card spot.
