You would really want Cooper with the number 1 overall pick.

How far will Cooper drop though?

Good question...JAX, NYJ, and OAK need a playmaker outside too...TB won't take him so TN could trade spots with them if TN ends up with the 1st pick...but probably can't move out of the top 3.

Cutler...sounds good bringing the Vandy boy back, and I would not be opposed to that if I were a Titans fan...just depends on the cost to bring in a big contract player...a 3rd rounder is the max I would go.

Locker has been abysmal this season. He's off the rails and done here.

Paul Kuharsky made the case that the Titans woes are due in largest part to Whisenhunt's stubborn refusal to establish any sort of run game. Sankey isn't being used properly and they refuse to let McCluster be the weapon he is.

And let's not forget Akeem Ayers. He wasn't good enough to play for the mighty Titans so they cut him and he goes to NE and dominates. A sack or INT in every game for them.

Un-fuckin-real. :L

Brady makes everybody better.

I think Chip Kelly would trade his soul to get Mariota to Philly. I could see him offering his next two first round picks plus Foles. Think Tampa would take that?:noidea:

Man that's rough. Bad year to have the #1 overall pick (unless you can trade it). Otherwise, enjoy Kaepernick 2.0.

Cutler could change EVERYTHING.

Solve the QB problem (if you think there is one) via free agency. Get Cutler back home and see what he can do.

Cutler to Amari Cooper and if it doesn't work in the first six weeks, give him the hook and put the kid back in?

As you might remember, I've talked to Paul Kuharksy, Blaine "The Hitman" Bishop and the 104.5 The Zone guys on the radio a few times and Kuharksy even responded to me about Cutler.

Problem is Cutler's contract. If he has melted down your spending a shitlload for a low ceiling guy when you could just bite the bullet and get on with the rebuilding.

Winston would look good in Titan Blue! :pound:

I agree with Cam's post in the OP. We're locked into the #2 pick and may get the 1 so we're guaranteed a shot at either Mariota or Winston. I'd take either one but I'd also consider a godfather offer if it meant moving down to 3 or 4 and take Cooper. Anything lower and I'd just take the QB because I don't think Cooper gets past 4. Mettenberger showed some promise but I think his ceiling might just be a low end starter like Andy Dalton. I'd rather roll the dice on MM and Winston's ceiling being higher if push came to shove.

Regardless of what happens in the first round, I hope they use every other pick on defense. And then in the offseason, overpay for Adrian Peterson or Marshawn Lynch. It looks like both guys could be available and both still have a couple of good years left. With a young QB, whether its the rookies or Mettenberger, what better way to ease him into a starter's role than relying heavily on AP or Beast Mode?

If he is Kap 2.0 then Tenn will go to the Super Bowl and back to back NFC championships. That sounds like a Home run for Tenn. I see Bust is Mariota

I thought same but after watching Heisman and this kids heart, I think he will be good,

Yeah, I'm sure NFL defensive ends are real impressed with this teary Heisman speech.

"I want to sack dude so bad but I respect him too much." - what JJ Watt won't be saying

I just don't want him busting on the Titans' roster

Just looking at the draft order and a dream scenario just came to mind.

Tampa Bay takes Jamies first and the Jags trade Bortles straight up for Mariota.

I know it's not realistic but it sure sounds good! :hope:

Whisenhunt could want his own QB if he's not sold on Mettenberger. I think ownership lets him make the call.
He could trade a draft pick to Cleveland for Manziel.

IF the Titans take Mariota first, hopefully they would have learned their lesson and sit his ass for a season before tieing a pork chop around his neck and throwing him to the wolves.
