No doubt. Not a good night. It was looking so good on the Braves side for a while; thought they were finally going to lose with Medlin on the hill, but no such luck.

Just a huge win for the Nats and Lannan, who was 2-12 against the Phillies with a 5.79 ERA, and 1-5 in seven starts with a 7.06 ERA at Citizens Bank.

Have to keep winning tho, since the Braves arent gonna lose again (only being halfway sarcastic here, they may very well sweep the Mets and Pirates.) Gio vs rookie Cloyd tomorrow, no excuses not to win.

Also, what is goin on with Clippard? I thought movin him from closer to set up man would help a bit, but apparently not. He looks like he's pitching with very little confidence.

I don't think he really knows where the ball is going right now. It scares the hell out of me whenever he takes the mound.

Yep, that was a great at-bat by Duda, too. Mets had a runner on third with no outs, and Hudson almost got out of it. Duda worked a 2 out at-bat for about 9 pitches and a 3-2 count before going yard.
