Additionally, MSU AD Bill Beekman was scheduled to fly from Cincinnati to State College, PA to interview a Penn State assistant, but instead Beekman flew straight back to East Lansing after meeting with Luke Fickell in Cincy.

And per the story linked by belcherboy above, Fickell is apparently bringing to MSU his defensive coordinator and his 4-star QB recruit as a transfer. Supposedly Fickell spoke with Magic Johnson last night.... methinks Magic Johnson did some 'boosting' to get all three of them to come to East Lansing.

That really sucks for Cincinnati, but money talks. Prater was the highest-rated QB to ever commit to a G5 school. Too bad they'll not get to see him play in front of his hometown fans.

No doubt. As great as a coach that Dantonio was for MSU, turning the program around. He really drove it into the ground before leaving and then screwed them over by waiting to leave a day before signing day.
