Lions have looked good defensively, if you take away big play. I like how they are just letting Minny dump it off in the middle and keeping that clock running.

A little shaky with the mistakes but at least we are good enough to still overcome them. Will need to clean it up a bit.
Stafford looked much better today then all preseason so that is a huge positive. LBs played decent as well outside of the first game.
The only other negatives I see is not hitting Peterson on the short TD. I don't care if he was going to score anyway. Still need to make the hit. DBs still not locating the ball quick enough. Bad penalty on Houston. Made J Simpson look like J Rice. Slay shut down Jennings though.

The Vikes are not a good team. They won't get away with a lot of that sloppy stuff against a good team. But Staff looked good. It looks like we have a backfield. The D was good when it had to be. There was a lot to like. Good start all things considered.
