Standard "juice" is 10 points or you risk $110 to win $100. That $10 is how vegas makes money. It is also called the vig and several other things.

If you actually tail these better juice is easy to find unless you are betting live.

Live is betting in a casino. If you bet online you can find lines with less juice, like risking $105 to win $100.

I tend to pick favorites to cover the points they are favored by (the -2.5 etc), and I was raised on Big Ten football so I feel most comfortable betting on those games.

I am glad you guys are all choosing USC to cover, they do not have a QB and Norm Chow is the HC of Hawaii

I have some NFL leans (not going to play yet):


Chiefs -3.5 (jags suck just can't pull the trigger)
Bengals +3 (Bengals had a break out year...should probably leace this one alone)
Browns pk (at home, small favorite but are still pretty bad)
Seahawks -3.5ish (they fixed their road wearies the 2nd half of the season but road favorite week 1 all the way across the country? Seahawks will also have a huge public backing)
titans +7 (steelers are not that good...but titans are bad too)
Redskins -3.5 (if RG3 is back this is a gogogo, eagles are a mess, the over 44 looks really good though)
