That’s right l, 9am Pacific time kickoff times may be on the horizon for the PAC12.
I'm not sure they need to go this far. But I've said in the past that it's entirely stupid to have fing 10-11pm ET kickoff times; no one on the east coast watches their games. If they would do more noon and 3:30 games it would be 6:30ET and 3:30ET for the east coast. Perfectly acceptable kickoff times for everyone. 6:30 games would give them an advantage because all the 3:30ET games would be ending and all the 8pm primetime games would not start. So they'd have like 1.5 hours of football where they're the only games on.That’s right l, 9am Pacific time kickoff times may be on the horizon for the PAC12.
Last year’s Michigan State @ Arizona State didn’t end until nearly 3am which is crazy. We should do a 9am Eastern kickoff time this year.I'm not sure they need to go this far. I remember multiple times last year seeing some awesome matchups in the Pac12 that I wanted to watch and ended up falling asleep at the beginning of the game; MSU game included. I didn't know the outcome of that until I woke up the next morning.Last year’s Michigan State @ Arizona State didn’t end until nearly 3am which is crazy. I would say lost in the shuffle is better than completely ignored by half the country. At least they can cut back to the game if it’s good. Most of the east coast is long asleep before the 4th quarter of 10:30pm games. So would this be a 9am start for Pacific time? If so it's still going to get lost in the shuffle with all the 12:00 Eastern time time kickoffs. I'm not sure that'd be much better than kicking off games at 10:30 Eastern Time zone.
I'd settle for kicking Larry scott in the nuts every saturday at 9am.
