Seriously, how many bad decisions does this guy need to make before the PAC gives him the boot?
He’s the Matt Millen of conference commissioners.

I tried that method in high school. Was hung over as shit for the SATs so I stayed up all night drinking and had a beer in the car on my to the ACTs.

And if you study sober/stoned, take the test sober/stoned. Do not mix and match.

Hung over turned out significantly better than drunk. Sleeping during the English/reading sections were a problem with both though.

I think they just need to rearrange which games are at which times. They shouldn’t be kicking off at 9am local time, but they shouldn’t have their prime time games kicking off at 9:30pm eastern.

Just give Oregon State vs Cal the late games and put Washington-Washington State at noon or 1pm.

I had one morning class and wreaked of beer/pot for that class. My problem was lack of adult supervision and morals of any kind.

It's not that we are crying about football on at 2AM, it's that there is no good football on that late. :D

The broadcast partners (FOX/Disney) typically are making most of the decisions as far as which games are which time.

There's no way that's true. People are asleep, and games are ending 2am. Bad game are bad games no matter when they're on, but it's the good games that people aren't watching because they're on so late.

I’m betting money on there are more people who get home from games and watch Pac 12 games than would watch a shitty Pac 12 matchup. The west coast fans are the only fans who at 9am west coast time aren’t already drinking and getting ready for their team or games that have implications for their school.

Good football is all about someone’s point of view. I’d rather watch a shootout thatvis crazy like nearly every Pac 12 after dark game than watch Arkansas vs Ole Miss during the day.

Well if Larry Scott gets his dumbass idea of selling shares of the Pac 12 he would end up redeeming himself but that also is dumb as hell that we’d have commissioner making 4 plus million dollars a year when he wouldn’t a single say in anything. Shares holders>school presidents and chancellors>a commissioner.

That was just some friendly smack talk. I grew up with the wishbone and power I. Quite frankly I would rather watch a 3-2 game(AU vs MSU) than a shootout. Imho the best games tend to be 27-24 types of scores.

What if the Mountain West bought up all the shares of the Pac-12 & forced them to let them in?

If anyone in the MWC had the money to do that then I’d welcome them in with open arms and gladly kick out Cal Berkeley.

Ironically, Arkansas-Ole Miss is usually a high scoring game. In the past 5 games, BOTH teams have scored 30 or more points EACH - highlighted by the 53-52 multi-OT game in 2015.

The pac12 just has to get better. There is a reason espn and fs1 put their gms on late night. People watch. So they think playing in the middle of the day is going to have people turning off the big 10 and sec games?

Depends. I'd switch from Illinois vs Indiana (or Kentucky vs Arkansas) to watch Oregon vs USC. I wouldn't switch from Iowa vs Michigan State (or Miss State vs Florida) to watch Cal vs Arizona though.

But you are right. The PAC 12 has to get better. Same for the other conferences...including the ACC and the SEC. Someone in their conferences needs to improve enough to knock of Clem and Bama. Same for the B1G and Big 12.

But they do put most big pac12 gms on in prime time. Oregon-Stanford and usc-stanford were both in prime hours. I believe Washington played a night gm on both fox and abc too.

I don't think folks watching or not is as important as having the games completed before 10 pm Eastern News and GameNight wrap up. People in the East will watch the good match-ups and not watch the dog games. I would have half of the games with a 12:30 pm Pacific Kickoff (3:30 Eastern and half with a 3:30 Pacific kickoff (6:30 Eastern). The only exception I would make would be Arizona State home games for Prime Time in the Pac Region due to the heat.
