I still am holding hope that we take the split back to LA with these guys. Our half court defense was pretty good and we actually shot better from the field than the Spurs & out rebounded them too. We need to do a better job hitting our three's and hanging on to the ball. We let them off the hook allowing 12 more field goal attempts, mostly do to turnovers. Our Lakers had twice as many turnovers as San Antonio enjoyed a 9-18 advantage in that department. Those TO's resulted in 5pts to 14pts advantage Spurs in points off of turnovers. Hummm that's a 9 point difference and it was an 11pt game. So if we just traded those turnover points equally and hit just one more 3 pointer we end up winning by 1 instead of losing like we did.
It's pretty obvious what we need to do here. Hit our outside shots and feed the big boys in the paint. Now doing it is a whole different thing!
I'll wait for Sman to leave his prediction first. We have until Wednesday 6:30 PST / 9:30 EST.
If you didn't get in on the original set of score predicting, you still can. We will just add one point greater than the worst score.... I hope to add the rules sometime before the next game...
