I'm turning 45 on Monday......in bed by 9-10pm during the week since I'm up at 4-5am to get into work. Fridays and Saturdays I try to stay up till 10-11pm but it rarely happens. Drives my GF nuts since she works 3-11pm and is a night owl. Usually up till 1-2am.

Sleeping in on the weekend is like 6-6:30am.

Yeah, I was hoping the Lakers would keep Bazemore because I liked his athleticism. However, as wildturkey pointed out, THAT Bazemore wasn't THIS Bazemore. Plus, as you mention, he didn't see the bigger picture.

Jim Buss has made his fair share of mistakes, but Bazemore isn't one of them.
The Lakers are 3 and 3 so Walton just might surprise us. I am getting greedy for wins now

Back to reality. The Lakers lost a game to Dallas they should have won. back to .500.

Life with a young team. They don't know how to win when they aren't at their best or close to it yet. Part of how we'll know they are getting close is when they have an off game and still find a way to win.

Gotta say though, even with their game being off, they were still fun to watch and they didn't lose for lack of effort.

Heard a great quote from Reggie Miller about the Lakers on Dan Patrick:

"This year, you're going to have to beat the Lakers. They're going to play hard every night."

Am I by myself, or is anyone else starting to get more worried about Luol than Mozgov now? I mean, both contracts are still worrisome, but we all pretty much came to the agreement that Mozgov could be our version of Andrew Bogut, and he has delivered on that. Luol hasn't exactly been as good as before, but it's still very early in the season

Oh and also....I've noticed that Luke has the same problem that Steve Kerr has, and that is that he tends to sticks to those small lineups, sometimes to the detriment of the team in key moments of the game. Other than that, he has done a tremendous job with this team.

EDIT- 1 more thing- Can Ron Artest stay on the bench now? He halted the momentum that we had going the other night. I'd lreally like if we kept him on moreso as a player-coach

I'm not worried about Deng or Mozgov. So far, they are both delivering exactly what I'd hope they would. Mozgov is more mobile than I thought he'd be. While I agree Deng isn't what he was a couple of years ago, his biggest impact, at least for now, seems to come from pulling the young guys aside, in game, and getting them settled.

The Lakers are 5-4 and granted that they are going to drop a few on the long road teams, but they just might be able to hit 40 wins - and some are predicting 36 wins for the Lakers.

Well you know it's got to be pretty good when a coach like Popovich gives Luke Walton high praises and comments that what he has done with the Lakers team is really impressive.

What I like is how many Lakers players are playing well. Deep! is the only word I can come up with. I must admit I knew there would be an improvement with Luke but this team is fun to watch and could end up being one of those teams no one wants to face in the playoffs. A fun season to watch....Go Lakers!

Nice road win in Chicago to get back to .500 and hold down the 8th seed. Looking good!

Ingram was just 1 of 9 on offense but he played some amazing defense.
