Kory Sheets release, Larry Johnson Signed By Dolphins

Dolphins released RB/KR Kory Sheets.
Sheets blew out his Achilles' tendon a little over a year ago. It's unlikely that he has regained his speed. Sheets was behind Lex Hilliard for the No. 3 running back job.

Coach Tony Sparano confirmed that Larry Johnson won't be guaranteed a roster spot with the Dolphins.
"We've got a couple weeks to work with him. We felt like he was a guy we wanted to get a look at," said Sparano. "He's had some productive seasons. We're not asking him to be the man. We're asking him to be a piece on this football team." The Dolphins moves this week suggest a back-side covering with Daniel Thomas looking underwhelming in short-yardage situations.

lol! yeah, probably not... I will always remember the running play where he ran directly into the back of our RG and pancaked himself. Funny as hell. He had a nice burst, but he wasn't going to be breaking any tackles at the line.

I wouldn't be surprised if LJ makes the roster. He's had a couple of years to "get fresh". Hopefully for the Dolphins he stayed in shape.
