Says the guy that derailed it... :laugh3:

Oh sheesh. If that is the way you see it then fine go ahead. Again trying to get this thread back on track and twice now after conversations started to try and get back on track a Seattle fan comes in trying to get the conversation back to Seattle or off topic. Fans from almost every fan base on here have commented about Seahawks fans doing this yet Seahawks fans keep denying that they are the problem.

I mean look at the thread on the NFC West. It is now a ton of Seahawks fans with one Dallas fan all entering into a pissing contest. Yeah that makes you guys look real mature when you can let one fan drag you all into a "whose the bigger idiot" competition.

I guess I'll say it for the 50th time? :noidea: It's the off season. This happens on every sports board for every sport during their down time. No exception. Pissing contests are 80% of the board during the off season and maybe 30% in season.

Lucky enough for everyone camps open in about a week and real news will start after that so it isn't boring lists and fantasy questions that substitute for real conversations for much longer.

Until then I'll feel free to point out every one of those biased fans you mention that like to try to troll up our base and then point fingers at us. Why? Because I like feeding trolls. Should be obvious by now.

So you like feeding yourself? I mean the person that feeds trolls what is the real difference between them and somebody who is actually a troll? Throw in again this conversation was actually again starting to talk about actual football...You being now a Moderator shouldn't you actually encourage people towards those kind of conversations? I understand it is the off season so yes conversations are going to go crazy sometimes but it doesn't mean every conversation has to every chance you get. I mean if you ask me you actually working to encourage trolling on these boards is a pretty dick move. I know plenty of people who leave boards because of that very reason. Heck I think half of us were excited when the ESPN boards shut down because probably half the members had become trolls making it impossible to have a decent conversation. Some of us tried to get this one back on track and your response is to just try to derail it again. You might find it funny to do that and fine you have that right and I guess the rest of us will just have to learn to talk around your posts. Again I come to these boards for actual football conversation not a pissing contest of who can look like the bigger idiot calling the other a troll.

So you again rant on and blame others for it, and attack me accusing me of the same. :L

Pull your head out of your ass and stop being a douche and there is nothing for me to come back at you on. It's really that simple.

If you think I'm doing something wrong as a moderator then by all means complain to someone about it.

I won't apologize to you for calling you out for what you are. Just won't do it. You start crap and point fingers at others. Stop either one and there isn't a problem.

I have said on here more than once that I apologize for helping be a part of this thread derailing. Because of that I have worked to try and get the thread back on track. Yet your response to that is to continue to try and derail it. So again who really is the problem here? I have owned up to my mistakes and all you can do is just keep trying to keep this thread off topic.

Also I can about guarantee that people on here who are not Seahawks fans would say I am nowhere near a troll on these boards. Heck I about guarantee I can get even 4 to 5 Raiders fans to back up that statement. Our most hated rival and yet we have no problem. I will admit that I have somewhat been harsh to the Seahawks this off season but have tried over the last month to point out many positives of the team and how I see them being successful moving forward. Yet even after those comments I'm either accused of being sarcastic or just a troll hater. This is not unique to me as I have seen many others suffer this same attack. I'm sure plenty on here would say they have gone through the same thing.

I have also seen many Seahawks fans on here comment about how they are tired of all these threads turning into Sehawks rants from both sides. My first post on this thread yes I should have not come across so harshly but it was geared towards that idea that I have seen probably 15 threads over the last 2 weeks with that idea that they want this ridiculousness to stop. Yet then all of a sudden here is a post about the Seahawks and how they dominated most of the guys on this list. I guess me and others did not see the point of this other than to lead to another Seahawks conversation. Obviously it worked as look what has happened to this thread. Again I admit I was part of the problem. I am working to right my mistake but it is hard when every time I try to right this thread I am met with a Seahawks fan continuing to call me and others trolls. Seems like the person not actual being on topic is the one who is trolling but hey maybe that is just me.

Now back on topic I am glad this article wasn't just another pointing out the top-10 quarterbacks in the league. They did a nice job of really mixing it up with TE's, RB's, WR's and even an OL player on the list. I think they could have maybe added another OL player to the list as they seem to be completely underappreciated. Alex Mack would have been a nice addition as I think the guy is a ridiculous player on the field. He doesn't get the recognition he should being in Cleveland though.

Wow, yet ANOTHER post not on topic telling me I'm not on topic that is combative in nature while accusing me of the same.

Do you even stop to think before you post?

On the one hand you appear to want to end things. You say you shouldn't have started up stuff, but then you add more fuel to the fire and again start making more accusations while you are doing the VERY thing you are accusing me of.

How long is this going to continue before you get over it?

I use the term troll or trolling fairly loosely and always have. I didn't say you do nothing but troll, but you for sure have made posts doing just that. Not sure why you are so offended by it, but if you stop posts like this your case for not ever doing it gets much much stronger.

I attempted to ratchet it down and you just keep on adding more and more to it. YOU want this to be 5 more pages of pissing. And then you want to blame all 5 pages on someone else. YOU CAN STOP IT AT ANY TIME.

Seriously, enough already.

At least Mack's paycheck this season will reflect his ability.

It is true. He in my opinion was one of the most underpaid players in the league compared to his abilities

Mack and Joe Thomas are two of the best. Maybe they can turn it around. Cleveland is sort of an underdog team it's easy to root for

They really are becoming that team you almost hope they have a little success because they keep having crap happen to them. I mean you look over the past what 15-20 years and they have had nothing but bad luck.

They actually are a talented team though. I said before all the coaching hires that if you base it on team alone and potential compared to all the other teams with coaching vacancies Cleveland really wasn't a bad choice. The FO is what made them a bad choice for anybody because they had become the new Raiders of the NFL.

Mack and Thomas definitely are arguably 2 of the best at their position. The defense is actually loaded from front to back with some decent talent. Just need to find a few weapons on offense and really they could be competing for a playoff spot. Too bad they had to use a draft pick on Johnny football hoping he will be the quarterback of the future.

Since I have been accused of derailing this thread by you, I find it odd that you are talking about people who are not listed in the OP. One could even go as far as saying you are trying to turn this into a Cleveland Browns thread.
Of course, this is minor stuff and the only reason I bring it up is because you brought it up and made a highlight out of it.. I suppose it just sounds hypocritical to me.
Football comes back soon...

LOL I think you missed the point. Nobody objected to discussing "offensive matchup nightmares" outside those listed in the OP. Rather, there wasn't much enthusiasm about discussing how the players listed in the OP fared against a particular team!

I apologize Uhsplit. I was discussing 2 guys who are considered top of their position in the NFL and honestly would take them as the 2 OL that are nightmares for any team. I did go on a bit about the Browns but hey they never get talked about other than Johnny Football these days so felt like they deserved a little bit of praise for the team they are forming around him and to have just a bit of discussion about them.

Sorry again though...anybody else you would want to add to the list of Offensive nightmares that is not on the list?

I noticed that CDumler has a habit of giving mention to positive points about most teams out there. Being a Bronco fan, he doesnt appear to be fixated strictly on the positives regarding the Bronco's alone.

I also noticed that you cant seem to add to those discussions without it turning to the inevitable (it's all about the seahawks only) . So no, it's not hypocritical, its a discussion about football in general, not the seahawks in particular.

Guys, seriously. That's enough. If you can't be a part of the solution then just don't post.

KwitYerWhinin, stop whining. Your posts haven't been on topic at all either. You really aren't helping things, you are just stirring up the pot.

uhsplit, goes for all of us. It's past the time to stop this and post something constructive.

Impressive for Tyron Smith to make the list. But I don't really see how any offensive lineman can be considered a "matchup nightmare".

It's not like a RB, WR, TE or mobile QB where you need to account for him on every play.

Offensive linemen rarely move around. You know exactly where he's going to lineup. If you can't get your pass rush through him, you just focus your pass rush elsewhere.

I think it has more to do with teams knowing they can't focus the pass rush to his side plus knowing in the run game he can just push 1-2 guys straight back. This means teams have to focus towards his side in the idea that the run game will do well running behind him yet many of times not want your best DE/LB towards his side as they won't make that great of an impact on the game like they would elsewhere. This is why I like Joe Thomas a bit more than Smith at this point as he is just a bit better in both categories in my opinion. Same with Alex Mack for the Browns in those two guys are both impressive in the run game and the pass game. Teams have to try and work their defense around that idea. To me then that makes them an offensive nightmare since teams do actually have to gameplan around the abilities of those two and even Smith as listed here on this list.
