Heat fans are so stupid the history of basketball looks like this to them:

90s: Some sport with a peach basket is invented but isn't truly worth their time
2006: Wade and Shaq appear and make the game worth the world's time.
Time till Summer 2010: Basketball is on hold due to not having a super team.
Summer 2010: Basketball again continues thanks to a French man named Le Bron and the hiring of a dinosaur named Bosh. Both of whom they believe have never played before, but they'll hop on the bandwagon anyways
2011: Miami decides they're too good to want to hog the championship right away so they elect to let Dallas have one
2012: With the shortened season Miami decides that now is a good time to win it because they don't want to let other teams have get a full season together to win a title
2013-2014: The Heat fans are desperate that basketball will no longer be important because the Pacers will destroy them :laugh3:

Heat fans aren't that stupid man - they don't believe a word of the worthless crap they post. They are making it up for the fun trolling the Lakers fans and nothing else. The truth is they jealous because the already have figured out that those two faggots Lebron and Wade will never win 5 championships like Kobe, so instead of admitting it, they are pretending to kick Kobe in the balls when secretly they are sucking his dick in private when no one is watching. Sickening, but true:laugh3:

This is good work, instead of bolding the text you are quoting you have now made it look slightly more like a quote with out actually quoting it.

When you see a post you would like to quote look at the lower right hand corner of that post and click either "quote" or "multi quote". Multi quote allows you to choose several posts to quote and the just plain old "quote" button will automatically take you to the screen that allows you to type in a message quoting the message you would like to respond to. This will allow everybody to know what you are posting about, not just you.

"After Kobe Bryant downplayed the Los Angeles Lakers' modest success in going 10-9 without him, saying Monday, "It's not like we were gangbusters before," coach Mike D'Antoni came to the defense of Bryant's teammates.

"I have to disagree with that," D'Antoni said after shootaround Tuesday in advance of the Lakers' game against the Phoenix Suns. "We were 6-2 in the last eight (games before Bryant's return) and I thought we played extremely well, winning three (in a row) on the road. ... So, that's not quite right. I'm really proud of what the guys did."

Props to MDA for pointing out what obviously Kobe wanted to downplay.

As usual Doors doesn't get it. Misses the point once again...Look Asswipe, Kobe is saying this isn't a team that's going anywhere as in contending for a title loser. So in Kobe's mind a .500 team is nothing to brag about....

Understand, dummy?

Yup they were coming on past few games but, in the end, it's overall record that counts. Playoffs start today they're looking in from the outside so Kobe's not wrong. If want to drill down then HC makes a valid point.

one player in NBA history has comeback from an Achilles injury to be an all star... he was 32.. and some of these people on here would still say Kobe is top 5 in the league.. smh.

I'll reserve judgment on where he stands until after season--granted he stays healthy and doesn't suffer a new injury or recurring achilles one. He'll be out to prove he's not 25th as he was pegged at start of season which is a joke....and also not Top 5 by the way.

20 points in Kobe's second game? Wow!!!! Wasn't expecting that at all. Lebron only had 17 last night. Who would've thought Kobe would already be outperforming Lebron in his 2nd game back after major surgery, at age 35...

Wow!!

Downplay or straight up throw under the bus for their success. LOL, yea, Dwight, Shaq, and every other FA star that turns down the Lakers until kobe is gone is clearly just afraid of success and the spotlight that comes from playing with Kobe and being in LA. :laugh3:

Who are all these FA stars that have turned down the Lakers? You got Dwight. That's it though.

Yep...pretty much. I'd say by his comments that he's pretty bitter that the Lakers had a winning record w/o him and wishes it was just the opposite.

Then add him hearing about the likely hood of disrupting chemistry, less ball movement/team play upon his return. I'm sure Blake, Young and others were really excited to hear his comments downplaying them. Pau's use to it by now.

Just Kobe being Kobe.

When is the last time you signed a big FA name that was not being resigned? I will need some help on this as I do not know the history of this well.

The only player I can think of is Shaq. Before that? Most of your players are traded for and resigned. Kobe also does not have pleasant history with teammates and if his latest comments are any indication he has not learned anything from those experiences.

Couple Kobe's doucheness with the Lakers non contending status and I do not see the trend changing.

There are certainly some big names the Lakers could over pay a bit but with Kobe on the team wanting to be THE guy the Lakers are I think those signings and contending are both long shots. The latter significantly more so of a long shot.

Lets get things straight. Lebron was drafted by the Cavs the worse front office that couldnt even put a decent star next to Lebron? What is he suppose to do rot in Cleveland. You realize if Kobe was in his prime the Lakers would of tried to sign Wade and Bosh, and Kobe would of asked for them. Dumbass delusional Laker fans. Who wants to play for Cleveland? Hes obviously not going to stay and not win a ring for 4-5 more years because of the lack of talent around him. Lebron did the right thing............... also after seeing the Celtics big 3 along with OKCs up and coming big 3 at the time, it was good he left.

Lebron is the greatest in the game today! Deal with it!
