Keurig sucks!

God knows I love my Keurig coffe machine, but this power play where the new 2.0 machines won't use 3rd party K cups is bullshit. It's nice to see a free hack (Freedom clip) coming out. When I get mine, I think I will never buy Keurig sponsored K cups again.

I have a Keurig, but I've never used the Kcups. I use the resuseable filter and get fresh coffee beans ground instead for it. Much better.

Keurig ONLY coffee is so damn expensive. I love the coffee maker but not the lack of freedom purchasing other's coffee.

I read the hack which was to remove the little RFID strip from a "legit" pod and glue it to a part of the 2.0 machine. Then any of them will work.

But I won't do this again. Too many single serve machines out now. Saw a cool one, forget the name, but it was a scoop that was also the strainer. Just scoop the coffee you want, place the whole thing in there, brew it, rinse and repeat.

Same here. Have a couple of the strainers so I can always have a dry, clean one and go that route.

I buy bulk colombian and arabica beans from Costco and grind them for the Mr. Coffee maker.

On the go cups. I don't have time in the morning to drink 3-4 before work. I value sleep over morning coffee siping.

I have to jump into crap very early in the morning as most of the people I work with are East Coast US or in India.

This ^. I MAY drink one cup on the way out the door and that's only if it's cold as bawls outside, Keurig's perfect for us. My son likes the occasional hot chocolate out of it too.

I buy the cheapest fucking coffee maker there is. I buy good beans and grind daily, and however many cups I'll be drinking that day, is how many fucking cups I make!?


Then, when the piece of fucking shit craps out a year later, it doesn't pain my heart, to throw the fucking thing away and go by another cheap-ass coffee-maker.
