I've said it numerous times that the reason few people caught the decay from within the Packers roster was due to the incredible play of Rodgers. Trust me, as a Bears fan, it pains me to say that, but if I put on my purely neutral-analytical cap, for a good 5 or 6 years, Rodgers was as good or better than any QB in the NFL. Brady or Brees fans might give me shit for stating this, and I'm not taking anything away from their HOF greatness. But Rodgers could do everything that Brees and Brady could, PLUS was insanely good at escaping out of trouble with his legs.

However, since his return from that injury he suffered in '17, he hasn't been quite the same. Still a hell of a QB, but just not the Rogers of old. And a not-quite-the-same Rodgers finally exposed the weakness of the Packers remaining roster.

You're not wrong at all. Escapability and improvisation have allowed him to be more than just a drop and read guy.

I hate to blame injuries, it seems like he's just had a crappy, holier-than-thou attitude the last few years.

He's on his way to surpassing Favre as biggest diva in franchise history.

I heard it’s like 15 pages long so I’ll have to make time to read it.

It won't be such a hot topic in 3 years when you finish, maybe you could have your dog read it it to you or something?

I'm sure McCarthy was frustrated that little Aaron never learned how to read a defense, whether pre-snap or post snap. Nothing makes an O-line look like shit more that a skittish QB that doesn't know how to read the D and isn't willing to man up and hang in or step up into the pocket when there is pressure.

See Wittle Wusty Wilson for example #1.

You must know more than every NFL DC and personal man who keep saying hes a ninja at reading defenses

If you live in Wisconsin 90% of this has been covered by fans and sports jocks the last few years. I'm sure if you weed out the statements by "unnamed sources" theres still alot of truth here. The part that killed me was the quotes from a phone call from Murphy to Rodgers. Is that really a call made in a room full of people or people who aren't trusted officials?

I think they should focus on another Qb in the draft. Rodgers appears to be in a rapid state of decline.

The Bengals would love to have A-Rod.

As would my Raiders. I'd trade Carr and a 3rd rounder for him.

Rodgers play the last few years hasn't lived up to the hype machine, but the media couldn't let go of their darling.

The emperor has no clothes.

McCarthey is gone as he already should have been.

A healthy ARodg and GB will win the division. But Chicago has a chance, if Captain Closet goes down.

The Lions are winning that division this year. Chicago might get a WC spot and GB is done.
