I'll say off the top it's looking like it's gonna be a fun season...

anyways, now that the real games will be underway soon it'll be interesting to see how all the parts mesh, but i like our chances...

It's gonna be interesting.

Considering all of the player movement and with stars like KD and Klay out for the year...the league is more wide open than it has been in a very long time.

Assuming they stay healthy, the 2nd round should be the absolute floor for the Lakers. I only say that because seeding can play a role and they could end up seeing a team that early that could beat them (for example if they catch the Clips in the 2nd round).

They have 2 of the top 5 players in the game and are the only team that can say that. They recovered about as well as could be expected when Kawhi chose the Clips, but the bench still could be an issue.

I'll say they make the WCF. Not really ready to predict beyond that at this time.

The Lakers could be anywhere from the #1-8 seeds, IMO. Missing the playoffs seems unlikely with this squad.

They have 2 of the 5 or 6 best players in the game. And couple of other nice players. But they are paper thin. So if they can stay mostly healthy they are going to win 55+ games. But it also seems pretty unlikely that Lebron and AD will both play more than 70 games.

Realistically this team could win it all.

At 100% full health the Lakers are the best team in the league.

Doesn't mean it's going to happen though.

If the Lakers can stay healthy the sky is the limit. I really like their pieces that can play multiple positions, defend and shoot the 3. Kuzma, Bradley and Green are very nice pieces and Cook was a good pickup too.
