He probably won't be much worse than Billy Butler was last year in the same DH role. I bet he has a better year than Dayan Viciedo.

Butler has much more to offer than Morales.

I'd much much rather have Butler at 3 years $30m than Morales at 2 years $17m. Both received contracts worth much more than they deserve, pretty surprised that any team offered Morales more than 1 year honestly.

They can have him. The one guy I am most disappointed we didn't get that changed hands was Moss from Oakland. Who would have thought going into the off season that he would be available and then go for so cheap? SMH on that one.

Same division, don't think we had a chance unless we overpaid. Would have been a great get though.

Agree it would have been more difficult, but we have done business with them before. Jaso deal comes to mind and I think there have been a couple others with them.
