What I need to learn about is the players who are ranked behind Patrick, so I know who Jarmo will pick when we get first overall because he refuses to do "what's expected".
If CBJ drafts 1st overall (unless it's won via lottery from, like, 14th position) I wouldn't expect Jarmo to be the guy making the pick.

But Torts will still be coach, I bet.

I can't remember the last time the top ranked prospect came out of the Dub - It's certainly been OHL and QMJHL dominated as of late (as well as Americans coming out of the US junior development program).

The answer came to me from beyond the seas of thought and beyond the realm of what.

With this being a thread about teenagers I was going to go with something from "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang" but it was difficult to figure out how to do that without the implication of Nolan Patrick yanking on my meat. So I had to go a different way. I'll still call him a teenage queen though.

Franchise centre who does everything well…that is just one key element that our elite ISS Scouting staff has labelled on #1 rank Nolan Patrick of the Brandon Wheat Kings. Patrick can beat players off the rush or make plays with his teammates. He is unselfish and has a killer instinct at the net. ISS ranked Timothy Liljegren at #2 owns elite defensive skills and is an excellent skater. Rounding out the ISS Top 3 is Windsor Spitfires centre Gabe Vilardi, who is a consistent and smart player that has excelled at protecting and controlling the puck down low.

"Patrick is an elite talent”, says ISS Hockey Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis. “He has pro level instincts when creating separation from defenders and making his teammates better when putting plays in motion.”

I would crack up if we wound up with Callan Foote.

Boeser and Jost are going to rip it up for ND as well.
First game last night Boeser has 4 points already

Living in North Dakota now, it's sort of funny how little coverage of the team we get from the media now that they aren't the Sioux. It used to be NDSU Football levels insufferable, but now you'd never even knew they started playing...like I didn't.

Mississauga’s right winger, Owen Tippett, rises seven positions this month to #4 from last month’s #11 ranking. Nolan Patrick (#1), Timothy Liljegren (#2) and Gabe Vilardi (#3) continue to maintain the top 3 ranks for November’s release.

“Not many weaknesses to Tippett’s play,” says ISS Hockey Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis. “He’s a very good skater with powerful stride and speed. He even has a second gear to get away from a check.”

The Brandon Wheat Kings Centre, Nolan Patrick, closes 2016 on top at #1, in the December release of the ISS Top 31. Rising 13 ranks to #8, the biggest riser within this month’s release was Halifax Mooseheads Centre, Nico Hischier. While fellow QMJHL winger, Maxime Comtois descended nine ranks to #16.

“Hischier showed amazing offensive play throughout the month of November,” says ISS Hockey Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis. “His accurate shot awarded him with a five and four goal night respectively. Hischier’s opponents should beware of his exceptional skill at making plays behind the net.”

If the Leafs continue to struggle to take two points and start to wallow in the bottom third of the league, he's been who I'm aiming for lately. Feel like he's capable of totally fucking shit up in the Dub in his +1 year and making himself look very attractive as trade bait at the very least if the opportunity arises for the Leafs to trade for a 1D in the next year or two.
