SFNL
is a little bit warmer
This feels like facing a ghost. All I can think about is how bad I felt in 92... URGH!!!! Win this motherfucker please
I just hope the bulk of these folks have been fans since 1992. I just don't know anyone who likes and respects a fan that only comes out of the woodwork when the team is winning.
I'm sure a ton of them weren't even alive then..
I could now see why some people would stay away. I just read that the average ticket price for the Division Series is expected to be 532 percent higher than the average price for a ticket in the regular season, rising from $51 to $322.
Ouch man. Ouch.
Crazy, isn't it. PNC will still be packed if we make it that far.
It isn't surprising... Unlike the NFL where you only have 8 home games, reg seasib tix NEED to be lower in a small market town like Pittsburgh over the span of 82 home games or the place will never pack full. I'll give the Pirates credit, they have kept the reg season prices down.
I myself do not see the above as a small market/big market thing. I see it as a loyal fanbase thing. I do get and understand supply & demand on NFL vs. MLB tickets, but, I don't see the selling of tickets as a market issue.
BTW... Loving the game being on TBS.. Revenge on Ted Turner!!!
