All I can say is good luck preaching team, family, and sticking to that who's got it better than us stuff. Sure you've won every where you've gone but you've also left every head coaching job after 4 years now and left your last 2 with a lot left to be desired. Standford failed to win the National Title and you failed to win a Super Bowl with us. How is he going to recruit kids to play for Michigan? First though kids will have is will this guy even be around for my entire college run? The answer based on track record is, probably not.

I think this move no doubt hurts Harbaugh as a coach in the long run. You can't keep going places and leaving so suddenly like he is. He needs a National Title run at Michigan because at this point turning the program around I don't feel would be enough. He's proven he can do that, but he has yet to prove he can be a championship type of coach.

Despite how many times he's beaten Pete Carrol and how his winning % is better. Pete Carrol won National Titles and has now won a Super Bowl.

I hope he takes Greg Roman with him. And in a perfect world he would take Kaepernick with him too.

Dang. Sorry, Niners fans. I like Harbaugh, wanted to keep him in the NFL.

Might be one of the dumbest moves by a Coach in a long time. A head coach with that much success in the NFL goes backwards. His brother and Pete will always have a Super Bowl.

I guess his ego isn't that big.

Roman is actually a good fit in college. That power run game will do well in the Big Easy.

Can Jed also get rid of Baalke too? A.J. Jenkins, LeMichael James, Vance McDonald, Colin Kaepernick, Carlos Hyde, Bruce Ellington....so far not a single bonafide offensive gem he has provided in any recent draft to help Harbaugh. Maybe the last 2 will eventually pan out, but the first 4 are potentially becoming or are certified busts.

STOP baalke is one of the better GMs in the NFL. He hit like 4-5 home runs in this last draft.

Baalke has had more success drafting defensive players than offensive. I think Hyde and Ellington will be very good players. Jenkins and James are total busts.

It's unfortunate that he is a great coach that should remain in the NFL and with the Niners. Subpar play by his QB sunk him. It is on him for being unable to develop and play to his QBs strengths. But it is also on the Baalke to provide him the best talent on offense, he's whiffed on anything that wasn't defense.

He was asked to make a dollar out of fifteen cents at every position on offense. Hard when you're QB is still developmental.

This!

He is a great coach, but there's just too much shat going on that cannot be fixed anytime soon. Just time to move on and HOPE LIKE HELL Baalke/York get it right the first time.

it was nice to see Harbaugh call the offense(or make the final decision). Offense looked good today. They didn't show Roman not once on camera today(unless I missed it).

Well I'm glad Harbaugh has already found his destination. Now we'll get to see if our omniscient 34 year old owner and first time GM can find a coach who can even hold Harbaugh's jock strap for a replacement. I'm guessing Baalke is fired in 2 years but that's just my opinion.
