Yes, he is not laser sharp.. but the quality of the shots the Kings defense is allowing against him, screened or not, is beyond incredulous. To continually place the blame on him alone is short-sighted.

Pete I can understand the displeasure of watching a being guy paid at his rate but this whole Jennings thing was about the team. The Kings D has not played well at all, yes Quick could have stopped a few but overall, the team as a whole sucks. You want to talk about money being spent, look at the top two lines and how much $ is invested there and the lack of production. Look at our D and how much they get paid, then look at how shitty they have played. All I am saying is I understand the Quick bashing but look at it as the team too, it's not just Quick. The team hasn't played well

Because the team has played like crap, turnovers, bad coverage, bad line changes including timing. Overall bad fundamentals by the team

Yep. I can't name a single King that's had a good game. Even in that first period they were mostly outplayed and were rather lucky to have the 2-0 lead.

Exactly how I feel, I thought SJ played well the entire game and we were lucky to be up 2-0.

Not trying to say Quick hasn't had a bad game. Just saying he wasn't alone. It's pretty much been a complete team (including the goaltending) collapse. I'm really not looking forward to Tuesday night. Staples will be inundated with the Sharks fans.

Quick being Quick stops those shots, that's what I'm getting at. The Kings have continually left him out to dry and he has responded. Maybe I am expecting too much from him.

Yes.. the outcome was good. But it was still evident that the Kings were backing into the zone.. giving space to the shooters with speed and allowing quality scoring chances. They were not going to survive three periods without shoring that up... they didn't, and well, we all saw the outcome.
