It's a mystery. Got some good pitchers coming back (Michael Roth, Matt Price), and #1 recruiting class. But we lost a lot of veteran guys, and we don't know where the offensive production is coming from yet. But I believe we're ranked #2 overall. Should handle Elon at least.

Yardcocks sweep a doubleheader against VMI. Finally got the O going in the 2nd game. The scores were 3-2 and 13-1. USC 3-0, nation's longest win streak now at 13.

Nice weekend for the Cocks. I haven't checked on the Tigers today, but I know we dropped our first game to UAB 2-1 yesterday. We are playing a double header against them today. The first game was suppose to be at 11 a.m. I'll go check it out.

Aha, we took the double-header, 6-1 and 7-4, today. So starting @ 2-1 ranked #16 isn't too bad.

I think UAB won a game against FLA last year. It can happen - a lot of these mid-majors have an ace who, if he's on his stuff, can shut you down. Happened to us last year against The Citadel. We have Elon next weekend, then weekend after is Gamecocks-Tigers. First game in Charleston, second in Cola, third in Tiger Town. I got a bad feeling Clemson is due against us. Hope I'm wrong.

S***. I was just looking, and we seem to have made a mistake in scheduling. We're scheduled to play Furman and Wofford next Tuesday and Wednesday, and then a series with (#1) Fla from thur-sat. Wtf?

Gamecocks take 2 in-week, downing Charleston Southern 5-2 and App St. 6-4. Worth noting that Appies lit up our starter for 4 in top of inning 1. Gcocks come back, though.
15-1, but the real thing starts up this weekend against UK.
