Going to OT. Thank you Carter and especially thank you Jonathan Quick. Props to the Wild. They've done all they can to try and win this game. The end there was pretty hectic and scary.

Pretty much up to Quick now. Minnesota has several snipers so he'll have to be at his best to win this shootout. I still think this is a stupid way to decide a hockey game. Win or lose.

Just finished watching the game (on tape: I was at work while it was happening). Minny's youngsters played with a lot of heart - & mostly with the smarts that it takes to make it in this league. They gave L.A. - a squad that the TV announcers went to great pains to explain was pretty much the same one from their Cup season - all that they could handle, and came away with a point.

Not the prefect start, but certainly one that I'll take.

Didn't mean to say I didn't like it. It just wasn't a very well played game by the team. Quick stole 2 points and that is nice but the team needs to play better. Can't rely on your goaltender to steal every game.

Almost 20 min tonight... He was playing on the PP and PK near the end of the game. Good to see him back in the fold.
