From what I read his new deal is 2 years at $750k or so. A little less than Rinaldo for the same term.

that's a good signing, 2 years and not a ton of money. I was down on vandevelde for a while, but he came along nicely as the season progressed, at times he and bellemare with the best players on the ice.

When Hextall began his tenure, I initially gave him five years. We shall see, but I believe we will be back a damn better team than when he took over.
