If Jagr is gone what about D.Penner then, he sucks in the regular season, but what he gave to LA in the playoffs this year, and Anahiem for his 1st cup was integeral. Playoff performer.

Basically pronger's contract. Once voracek, carle, bourdon, and sestito are resigned we'll be up pretty close to the cap.

How have ya been Tox? I'm trying to get my ass back to Philly sometime this summer. Just waiting to hear back from my uncle to see when he will be back in town. He has his business in Philly but lives in Vancouver, BC. Quite the commute eh?

Doing well here. Yes, the welts are nice dark purplish. No more pain, just noticeable. Great time with the guys weekend out. Been very busy the last few days. Wife is teaching summer classes at the college, taking my son to swimming and soccer practices. He just finished T-ball. Last night I received some sad news and unexpected, we lost a brother in the fire dept. Funeral will be Monday. Other than that, it's been a nice summer so far.

I pointed this out last night. Wideman has fucked up the market for all. Carle is going to get paid more than we originally thought. It's unreal what an avg dman is going to get now. Suter is going to get $8 million easily IMO.

That would be nuts. No telling what Weber would be worth, if that happened.

i really dont think it changes much.. people think wideman got overpaid, prior to the schenn deal i wanted/would've taken him for 5 mil/yr.. he only got 5.25, its not that much 'overpayment'.. the guy had a bad second half of last year, he's a damn good dman with a good shot and a big body

the only players i think it (plus gill resigning in nash) will effect are suter and garrison, because they are the only ones that haven't 'all-but-signed' somewhere

carle could go back on what he's apparently agreed to with homer, but i dont think he will
