Happy? IDK. After the last 3 decades of poor coaches and failed draft picks, I'm just happy there's a change.
Not getting my hopes up. At least today.

@HaroldSeattle probably has better insights than I do on Waldron, but I know he came up thru McVay, which is becoming a very healthy branch off the Shanahan coaching tree.

Minny, GB, and Cincy seem pretty happy with their McVay offensive coach hires

Think he'll be an improvement over what the Bears had at OC last few years. IDK if he'll be great though. Seahawks defense was bottom of the league yet they won 9 games and that credit goes to the offense and he had Geno playing better then anyone could have expected.

Bears also been pursuing titans DC - think he'll be a good fit in Chicago since yall actually have a secondary but he wouldn't be my first choice if I was the Bears

Well at least on that drive the Chiefs didn't score thanks to giving the ball to Mecole Hardman again and him fumbling again. Why they do stupid shit like that I will never understand when Pacheco is averaging 6 yards a carry.

Luckily for them, there are plenty of teams in need, (including their current teams in most cases) and little to nothing who are all that exciting coming in via the draft.

I'd expect Barkley, Jacobs, and maybe Singletary to receive decent offers to stay. But, with that many openings out there, most will probably be with new teams. Hopefully a couple bidding wars driving the $, and therefore the commitment to the RB's, up where it belongs

Does anybody know if Barkley and Jacobs had it worked into their deals that they wouldn't be tagged this year? I know that they both ended up signing one year deals instead of the franchise tender, but I thought I remembered seeing something about not being able to be tagged again this year but maybe I'm crazy.
